Beautiful hidden away locationAnne - 8th March 2021
The house was located at the end of no through road so very quiet, lovely gardens, biggest outdoor deck I’ve ever seen, heaps of bird life. House a little dated but the functionality and value for money more than compensated for that. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
What you'd expectbrosert - 11th March 2019
A functional house and comfortable stay - especially if it's mainly home camp/sleeping quarters you're looking for. The location is perfect (the yard extends onto bush down to the lake), and the house roomy, however the upstairs gets hot and stuffy during the day (and this was with mid-20s weather). The noises of birds are wonderful, and the flora beautiful. We found the driveway narrow for our large people mover, but that's a minor gripe. A WIFI password on the fridge referred to a wifi that didn't seem to exist (but if we're honest we didn't go to the coast for the internet - just would've been nice to stream tv in the evenings). The kids loved it, and the kitchen had everything we needed including some pantry staples (although we weren't daring enough to use the bbq which had seen better days (i think a hot plate would be easier to maintain than a grill)). The outdoor rinse-off shower is a great addition, and probably help minimise sand coming into the house, the ample deck a nice place to eat (especially when inside is warm), and board games, dvds and table tennis helps pass the resting hours. All in all, it was as we expected - a basic accomodation to rest up between adventures.
